Well, I tried both painting and drawing this year. I really enjoyed drawing and want to continue doing various sketches next year. I didn't really like painting that much, it take a steadier hand to make sure all the paint stays where you want it to stay. I also noticed that if you sketched out what you wanted where on your canvas, the pencil would be seeable through some of the lighter paint. I learned that when sketching, proportion is everything. If you don't get the proportions between all of your main objects in your sketch right, it ends up looking really ridiculous. Next year I plan on sketching more. I might try more complicated drawings, like animals. I don't want to draw people, they are really hard to get proportioned right. I would like to draw some scenes from movies like Star wars or something. I might even draw some planets, who knows. This year has been a really fun year, and I really enjoy this class.

Next project
Form my final project, I want to paint a picture of a baseball logo. I don't know which one. I will use. I will need paint and a canvas.
Re2005
I am really happy with the way it turned out. If you don't look to closely, it looks like a photograph. I really wish I had time to shade the dirt around the plane, and the sky. That picture of the plane is really big.

I have decided that for my first art project I will research and design my own airship on google sketchup. I will then print it in sections and fix them together to form one large giant model. I will research the how to design a functioning airship, so I can make as accurate a model as possible. I can paint the model to be more accurate. I will need grey 3D printer plastic so I don't have to make the ship bright red or blue. I can use the acrylic paint to paint it. I will also need a light fishing line to string the model together. My goal is to make an accurate portrayal of an airship.
